We decided to try something a little different for our fourth anniversary, and we're going to an all inclusive resort on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico! We're looking forward to our stay at the Aventura Spa Palace in February 2009.

Experience a journey to one of the oldest cities of the Mayan civilization.  Visit this historical site located in the middle of the lush jungle among 5 lagoons and climb the highest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula, taller than “The Castle” pyramid of Chichen Itza.  Guided tour to the archaeological site of Coba lasts two hours.

Discover the unique archaeological site of Ek-Balam, known as the City of the "Black Jaguar". Its completely new architecture style and design makes it a site unlike any other. Visit the most relevant structure on the site, "The Acropolis" which has been explored and restored since 1997. After a one-hour tour to Ek-Balam, we will head for the city of Valladolid. Founded on the site of an ancient Mayan City, this attractive city boasts a glorious colonial past that can still be seen in its beautiful architecture. Be ready for a visit to the Museum and the San Gervacio Cathedral. Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet at a typical restaurant in Valladolid and get some of the beautiful handcrafts that can be found on the streets surrounding the main square.

Satisfy your desire to sail along the Riviera Maya aboard a catamaran.  Enjoy snorkeling at its best in the Palancar barrier, world’s second largest coral reef.  Experience the underwater life of colorful tropical fish, turtle and unusual coral.  Afterwards relax and enjoy your day at our private beach club.

The Ultimate Dolphin Swim Experience program offers an exciting way of learning and interacting with dolphins. During this program, the first 15 minutes prior to entering the water are dedicated to an orientation about the dolphins.  The remaining 30 minutes will be in the water with one dolphin.  Visitors will be allowed to perform various activities with the mammals including the famous foot-push and the dolphin kiss.
