We met at the Oshawa bridge sectional in 2001. Our friend Matthew Mason introduced us during the team game, and the rest is history!

Time really flies when you're having fun... it's hard to believe that we've been married for three years!

Daniel is a 26 year old University of Waterloo student specializing in English Literature.

He likes to play the piano (jazz mostly), read, play computer games, and play backgammon and card games of any type, especially poker and bridge.

Bridge, of course, is his favourite and most successful endeavor; he has represented Canada three times on international junior teams (twice with Susie), captained the 2007 Canadian Seniors Bowl team in Shanghai, won the GNT-A in 2006, won countless regional and sectional events, and has had several high finishes in National events. He is a Gold Life Master. His goals include winning the CNTC in the near future and representing Canada in the Bermuda Bowl.

Susie is a 25 year old student at the University of Waterloo, majoring in social development.

She loves to spend her spare time working on her scrapbooks, and she also enjoys reading, visiting with friends, and playing poker and bridge. She is a Silver Life Master.

Susie is working on developing her poker skills, and can regularly be found on UltimateBet.com (use referral code 2665 for a bonus) or FullTilt.com playing in low stakes tournaments. She hopes someday to be playing on the Canadian Women's Poker Tour, although unfortunately most events are held out west.

Together we enjoy cruising, travelling for bridge tournaments, and learning about wines. We both enjoy fine cuisine and good movies (although we may not agree on them!), the theatre, and sporting events.

After being together for over seven years, we've learned a lot about each other but we are still learning new things every day. Here's to many more happy years together!
