We stayed in the Island Tower at the Tropicana Hotel and we really enjoyed staying there. It is a lovely hotel and several times a day there are free shows in the casino and the atrium. It's walking distance from the main hotels on the strip and there's also a shuttle. It may not be new or glitzy, but it was comfortable and the price was right.
We hope to go back one day soon, we had such a great time!
